Equine breeding is the activity aimed at giving birth to domestic equines belonging to the species of the horse, the donkey or the mules (hybrids of the two preceding ones).
It can supply animals intended for equestrian and horse sports, recreation, defense, cinema, or even traction. Equine breeding also provides products from these animals, such as meat, milk, leather, fertilizer, amendment.
This sector, featured in the "livestock" area , offered visitors the chance to discover donkeys, mules, thoroughbreds, and draft horses on display. There were also driving demonstrations and activities related to farriery and saddlery. A show presented by an association and professionals enlivened this space.
